This qualification helps in meeting with Regulation 10 of Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012, Competence Information, Instruction and Training.       Waste Training & Consultancy Ltd manages a Waste Management Industry Training and Advisory Board (WAMITAB) Approved Assessment Centre from our Yorkshire base. We also have expanded our services to cover Northern Ireland and have a dedicated team of assessors based out there.

      We provide a range of WAMITAB mentoring and assessment options providing industry recognised qualifications in waste, recycling and resource management. We provide access to qualifications for all staff, from manging directors to operation staff and can deliver Level 1, 2, 3 and 4 qualifications.

      Waste Training & Consultancy Ltd has a team of assessors who are fully qualified to mentor and assess all WAMITAB Qualifications including landfill, treatment, transfer and all the recycling and resource management awards offered by WAMITAB. Our assessors have a vast amount of specialist knowledge and operational experience gained over many years’ practise in the waste and recycling industry. This enables us to assign you an assessor most suited to your individual needs who understands personally the operational requirements of your site.

      Following registration on your award, you will be allocated a suitable assessor. This assessor will become your primary point of contact throughout the assessment process, you will receive a thorough induction to set you on your journey to completing your WAMITAB Qualification. We will then give you the mentoring, specialist advice, tuition and continuous support to enable you to become competent in every aspect of your chosen qualification and job role you are undertaking.

      Under the recognised qualification framework, Waste Training & Consultancy Ltd.’s objective is to make your assessment process as unobtrusive to your daily operations as possible, working with you to identify opportunities by which to demonstrate your competence without undertaking additional study.

      Worldwide Waste Wise offers training, assessment, mentoring and just plain common sense advice.  We are a zero risk level WAMITAB centre known for our professionalism, enthusiasm, innovation and high quality delivery.  We have experience in all types of waste management sites - be they large or small, we’ve seen it all!

      We specialise in training on site – but can also provide a grade one listed building – Merley House in Wimborne,  as an external training venue to cater for staff who learn better ‘off site’.  We can also hire facilities local to you if this suits you better.

      All our assessors are highly qualified and knowledgeable with many years working and training in the waste management sector. Many are also health and safety experts. 

      We have over 15 years’ experience of delivering training to local authorities, large companies and smaller family run businesses.  Although based in Wimborne, Dorset we have a network of staff covering the whole of the UK.

      We provide the following:
